Voting Question: Are pistol compensators illegal in New Jersey?

I have a Springfield 1911 loaded edition and I found a compensator that i would like to put on it. Living in New Jersey I am not sure if I am allowed to have it on a pistol or not. Does anyone know the specifics behind the law for pistols? Thank you for all your help! note: For the gentleman who answered me last time i asked this, NJ DOES have laws involving compensators and flash suppressors. Flash suppressors are illegal in NJ and some compensators fall under that category.
